VersaTile requires a Macintosh with 32-bit Color Quickdraw, running System 7.0 or later. If you are using VersaTile Pro and wish to use the Drag & Drop features you must have System 7.5, or the Macintosh Drag & Drop extensions from Apple installed.
Installation:
To install VersaTile, simply move the VersaTile application to a folder on your hard drive and open the application by double-clicking on it's icon. The application will create a preference file inside the System's Preferences folder.
Getting Started :
If you are a new VersaTile user, please select "VersaTile Help..." from the Balloon Help menu to access VersaTile's online help manual. If you are using an extended keyboard, you can also press the "help" key to display VersaTile's help window. Please take a few minutes to read about how to access and use VersaTile's features.
If you are upgrading from OneClick*, simply replace the old OneClick application with the new VersaTile application. VersaTile will open all palettes created with either OneClick 3.0 or later, or OneClick Pro.
Note to unregistered users: VersaTile's save features are limited to the first 9 tiles of a palette until your software is registered. To save entire palettes you must register your copy of VersaTile. Registration instructions can be found in VersaTile's online help or by contacting the author.
Redistributing VersaTile:
You are free to redistribute unregistered copies of VersaTile to other users provided that all Read Me files are included and the product's copyright infomation is not altered in any manner. If you are an organization planning on redistributing VersaTile on a CD-ROM, Shareware-of-the-Month disk, or any other form of mass distribution, please contact the author for permission and information on the latest version.
*OneClick is the name formally given to previous versions of the VersaTile software. These previous versions are not to be confused with the commercial OneClick software recently announced by WestCode.
